Wedding Party

Meet our loved ones who are walking down the aisle with us!

Kelsey Koverman

Maid of Honor

Although they are often mistaken as twins, Kelsey and Laura only just met when Laura was a sophomore at Xavier and Kelsey was a freshman. They met through their involvement with Life After Sunday, a Catholic prayer club on campus. While they were friends from the beginning, Laura and Kelsey's friendship really took off in her third and Laura's fourth year at XU. One of Laura's favorite memories with Kelsey is when they went on a group canoe trip after they first met. Afterwards, she and Laura went off-roading in their friend, Eddie's truck. Another memory that makes the top of the list was spring break 2018, when Kelsey helped keep the secret from Laura that Justin was going to propose to her during their girl's trip to Gatlinburg, TN. Suffice to say, Kelsey is a friend for life!

Jordan Friske

Best Man

Justin and his best man, Jordan, didn't meet until a Memorial Day trip to San Francisco right after Justin's sophomore year of college, a trip which Jordan was late to wake up for. Since then, Jordan has been a steady influence in helping Justin to re-invigorate his love of the Catholic faith. Jordan lives in the San Diego area with his wife Emily, who Justin went to youth group with as a high schooler before her and Jordan met, and their daughter Adelaide, who will be getting a little sister to play with very soon!

Andrea Toth

Bridesmaid

One of Laura's best friends since the beginning-- and conveniently also her cousin. When Laura was in second grade and Andrea was in third grade at St. William, Andrea planned to lend Laura all of her school books over the summer and help her study really hard so she could skip a grade and be in Andrea's class. Although this didn't work out the way they planned, these two have had their fair share of fun together over the years, through family camping trips, carpools for school, and giving our parents way too much grief. (Sorry Aunt Susan!) Andrea is currently a medical student at UC (Cincinnati, not California). So she's smart AND fun. What a killer combo! And what a great person to have stand beside Laura at her wedding.

Jacob Bramlage

Groomsman

Jacob is a fun-loving friend who Justin met his sophomore year of college and the man that you would love for your daughter to bring home over Thanksgiving. Jacob is a native of Centerville, about 40 miles north of Cincinnati, where he starred on the Centerville Elks basketball team. He is currently studying to become a nurse and would love to tell you about his most recent trip to Dunkin' Donuts. If you're lucky, you might just get to hear him throw down a sweet beatbox before the night is over.

Trisha Brockmeyer

Bridesmaid

A friend of the bride since their freshman year of college, and her former roommate. This girl has been there through all the big moments. Trisha was an Art History major at XU, and currently lives in Chicago for her internship. She plans to go to grad school in the fall. (Ask her how many application essays she's written in the past year.) Fun Fact: Laura told Trisha that she and Justin were engaged by calling Trisha on her family vacation and saying that she needed to talk to her because Justin said he didn't want to be her boyfriend anymore. After giving Trisha a few moments to think the worst, Laura told her that it was because he said he wanted to be her husband! Another Fun Fact: Trisha claims she hates puns but she secretly loves them.

Nick Stockhauser

Groomsman

Nick and Justin met in Xavier's Catholic prayer club, Life After Sunday, when Justin was a junior and Nick was a sophomore. Make sure you know where Nick is at all times, because when you're not looking, he's probably doing something mischievous. Although he wanted to wear his chain-mail suit to our wedding, he's being a good boy and wearing the one we told him to. Nick would love to tell you about how your non-profit could get $10,000 free dollars a month from Google Ad Words to use for ads and SEO, and then invite you to the next young adult gathering at the nearby parish. Nick currently lives in Cincinnati and works for a digital marketing firm, where he will be making sure that you see the latest ads from Boogie Wipes pop up on your screen in the near future.

Molli Doyle

Bridesmaid

Although they were 5th grade arch rivals on the soccer field Molli and Laura quickly became best buddies in 6th grade when Molli came to St. William. Through the years, distance has kept them apart at times, but whenever these two get together, it's just like old times again and they pick up right where they left off. Molli is a friend who always supports Laura and has taught Laura about what a true friend really is. Also, Molli is a boss at soccer, was the best mascot Clark Montessori has ever seen at a basketball game, and recently ran an ultra marathon. (That's 50 kilometers, people!) By the way, Molli has the cutest golden retriever ever, named Blu. Even though 6th grade is long gone for these two, Laura and Molli still remain the best of buddies!

Paco Patag

Groomsman

Before you ask what Paco's actual name is, just know that his name is Paco and that is how it will be. Justin and Paco met through mutual love of their Catholic faith, when UC's Catholic Club and Xavier's Catholic Club would get together. Paco recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati (which we won't hold against him) with a degree in Engineering. He currently lives in Cincinnati, where he enjoys going to theology on tap, playing guitar, and ballroom dancing. If there was an award for the most infectious laugh, he would place first, second, and third. Paco might be the happiest person you've ever met, and if he's not, it's because you haven't had the pleasure of meeting him.

Mallory Smarto

Bridesmaid

Mallory and Laura met when Laura was a freshman and Mallory was a junior and Xavier. Mallory was a mentor who turned into one of Laura's closest friends. Even though Mallory moved to California in fall 2016 to work at California State Fullerton as a missionary and campus minister, Laura and Mallory are still the best of friends. She still lives in Cali today, but she and Laura try to get together once a year when Mallory is back in Cincy. Mallory is a very down to earth person who likes to keep it real. She loves Jesus like it's her job (because it kind of is, but also just because Jesus is da bomb). She is always down for some Pho or bubble tea, and taught Laura how Chacos are probably the best sandal ever made.

John McCoy

Groomsman

If you're looking for a humble man with a righteous beard, look no further than John McCoy. John is an artist specializing in Catholic artwork, having completed many projects at parishes across the Midwest. When he's not painting, you're likely to find John searching for a reasonable meal, out on the disc golf course with Justin, Jacob, and Nick, or at Dunkin Donuts asking why the coolatta machine is broken. Although Justin has known John the shortest of the bunch, they have many memories together, and the wedding will surely only add to the collection.
