A book reader's dream store. This bookshop is the world's largest independent new and used bookstore (at least according to them). We've spent multiple hours here and we wouldn't be surprised if you do the same.
One of the first record shops we went to together. Great selection of new and used records. We could spend hours going through crates of vinyls (and trust me, we have).
If you want to get out of the city and into the mountains, this lake is the perfect destination for you. Mt. Hood in general is gorgeous but wouldn't you want to paddle board with the mountain as your backdrop? I mean, think of the pictures!
There’s so many great spots along the Columbia River Gorge including Multnomah Falls (tallest waterfall in Oregon) and plenty of hiking trails (including Angel’s Rest and Eagle Creek). We recommend checking it out if you find the time!
This is the restaurant where Omar first fell in love with Ethiopian food. Eating Ethiopian food has become the way we choose to celebrate big events together. If you've never tried it before, this might be the time to learn why we love it so much.
Our go to brunch spot! The Chicken and Waffles are a MUST try!
This is a very cute bar that has incredible cocktails and an amazing vibe!
