Charlotte's Legendary Lobster Pound
Take a nice drive to the quieter side of Mount Dessert Island, the southwest harbor! Be sure to get a lobster roll, bring your own beer or wine & dress to sit outside on picnic tables! This is Matt & I's go to take out spot, after we head to Sea Wall to site see!
Beal's Lobster Pier
Another Southwest Harbor classic! Sit right on the pier, some indoor pier seating available! The blueberry margarita is a must! Fresh seafood & great atmosphere!
Bar Harbor Beer Works
Check out Bar Harbor's local brewery! Delicious Beer, right downtown Bar Harbor! Great spot to stop while walking around!
Bar Harbor Cellars
Matt & I stop here every visit to Acadia to do the wine tasting (indoor or outdoors), grab a few bottles for our stay. They also have a delicious blueberry cider that I highly recommend! There is also a lunch spot on site (hours may differ).
Schoodic Point
Take a drive around Schoodic Point to enjoy our favorite part of Acadia! Bring a cooler with snacks, some beers, and a blanket to stop and enjoy a pull off!
Cadillac Mountain
Driving up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain is a must-do while in the area! ( or if you want bonus points, you could hike it!!!) Beautiful views from the summit of the Porcupine Islands.
Bass Harbor Lighthouse Trail
Who doesn't love a classic Maine Lighthouse?
Corea Wharf Gallery & Grill
Try the lobster grilled cheese & sit on the deck with views of the ocean! Oh, and check out the local art in their gallery!
Thunder Hole
Walk down a staircase/walkway to Thunder Hole & watch the waves crash like you've never seen before!
Prospect Harbor Soap Company
This is a must stop!! Get some of the best homemade soaps, scrubs, lotions, etc!
SAIL ACADIA
Sailing, lobster boating, taxi to little cranberry island, whatever your heart desires!
Sand Beach
On the main Mount Dessert Island, public beach! Busy in the summer so get there early!
