Question

Is there a dresscode?

Answer

Those that are in our wedding party do have a dress code, but everyone else can wear whatever they prefer. Think coastal Maine. Our wedding colors are navy blue, sage green, white and accents of dusty pink.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Our ceremony is planned to be at the end point of Schoodic Peninsula, also known as Schoodic Point, aside from loving this area, and spending a lot of time in this quieter section of the park, we hope that access to a parking lot, will also help accommodate our guests, when attempting to pull off this natural landscape wedding ceremony.

Question

Is there a restroom?

Answer

Another major reason why we picked Schoodic Point, within Schoodic Peninsula, is because there are public use restrooms at this location.

Question

How do you plan on pulling this off?

Answer

The plan is to have the first limo, with the men, head to the park and secure our spot. This may be tricky depending on crowds, and also the tidal situation. Will update tide chart once closer to 8/10/20. Once the men secure the spot, the ladies will be en route. Guest are welcome to stay in their cars, until they get word that the bridal party is close. Our ceremony is planned to be between 3 and 3:30pm at this time. We would like everyone out on the rocks by the time the Bride & father of the Bride approach all your wonderful faces <3

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

The wedding reception is in the town of Winter Harbor. There are a few inns locally, or I've had luck on Airbnb although a lot of Airbnb's require a full week stay due to August being a peak season month. Otherwise some of our family is staying as far away as Ellsworth, 30 minutes from Dinner Reception Location where there are a lot of options. Please reach out to me if you need further suggestions!
