Since the weekend of our wedding is off-season, there are actually many great deals to choose from if you'd like to go straight to Aspen ( especially if you're coming from LAX).

Grand Junction Airport (GJT)

If you want to skip the traffic or hustle and bustle of Denver, Grand Junction is a beautiful drive about 2.5 hours from Carbondale, CO and 3 hours from Aspen, CO. You can stop at Palisades, CO on the way to visit one of many wineries there and plenty of delicious fruit stands to choose from!

Denver International Airport (DIA)

Denver International Airport is sure to have plenty of options to choose from! The lightrail is located at the airport as well, in addition to rental car services. There are also shuttle services that will take you to the mountains if you'd prefer to skip the rental car. From Denver Airport, it's about a 3-3.5 hour drive. Some great pit-stops on your drive are Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Lake Dillon (right off the I-70 highway!), then enjoy a short hike at Hanging Lake for the most spectacular experience ( also right off the highway when you are close to Glenwood Springs).
