Travel Note

Planning your trip to our Rocky Mountain Wedding

Please plan ahead! From flights to lodging, autumn in Colorado is still busy season so places will book up early and quickly. We will not be blocking off any hotel rooms at the hotel closest to the venue. The wedding party and immediate family will be staying at the venue. Our recommendations for lodging are listed below. If you have any questions about booking anything, traveling out here, or anything else please don’t hesitate to reach out to Morgan at 620-238-1555. You could text Josh too, but he may not know the answers ;)

Travel Note

Lodging at Deer Creek Mountain Camp

Our beautiful venue has lodging onsite for our guests, first come- first serve. It is bunkhouse style with a shared bathhouse. Linens are provided. If you'd like to do this, it's $25 per person per night, and you'll send the money to Morgan via venmo: morganmichael21

Hopefully you’re choosing to make a mini vacation out of our wedding weekend, and if that’s the case, we highly recommend getting an Airbnb near Bailey!

This lodging option has cabins available. It is not a traditional hotel.

Travel Note

Flying into Denver!

If you choose to fly in for the wedding, the closest airport to the venue is Denver International Airport. The airport is approximately 1.5 hours from the venue without traffic. We highly recommend renting a vehicle if you fly. Ride-share apps like Uber and Lyft will not pick you up in Bailey and bring you back to Denver. If you’re flying from the southeast Kansas area, Joplin has straight flights into Denver through United Airlines. Kansas City and Wichita also have straight flights to Denver through Southwest, United, Delta, American, and Frontier. If you’re flying from Panama City, the Panama City Airport does offer nonstop flights with Southwest and United to Denver, but they are few and far between. Plan for a full day of travel with layovers.
