FAQs

Question

Isn't the wedding on a campus? How will we know which building to go to? Or where we need to park?

Answer

The Children's Home campus is relatively small, but just in case, we will have markers set up that point the way to the chapel to help make locating it, as well as parking, easy to find.

Question

Is there going to be a reception?

Answer

Due to having to limit guests and practice social distancing, we will be having a small, intimate reception gathering after the wedding with snacks and finger foods, and cake (of course), instead of a bigger reception. We timed the ceremony so that guests can eat lunch before. have a snack to tie them over, and then still be able to catch dinner afterwards at a reasonable hour. We plan on having a bigger reception at a later date in the future, once COVID-19 clears up, so we appreciate the understanding in the meantime.

Question

With COVID-19 being an ongoing issue, how will the day of be handled safely for in person guests?

Answer

We have arranged seating to comply with social distancing guidelines, as well as limited in person guests to follow gathering restrictions. We will have masks available for people who wish to wear them as well as hand sanitizers set up at different locations. We will also have serving utensils for snacks and finger foods, as to avoid direct handling.

Question

How will guests that are not available to appear in person still be able to share in the special day?

Answer

We are going to have a livestream set up during the ceremony, so that loved ones that are not able to travel can still appear virtually. There will be an event page on facebook where we will invite guests that could not attend in person.

For all the days along the way
