Bretton and Alexa really are the most typical of sisters. They love like sisters, fight like sisters, and stick up for each other as only sisters can. Bretton was the first call Alexa made after we got engaged, and right away, asked her sister to be her maid of honor. As a talented interior designer, Alexa knew Bretton would not only help her get everything ready for the wedding, but she knew Bretton would make sure everything was picture perfect as well. She is so grateful to have such an amazing sister in her life and by her side on our wedding day!

Morgan met Rafaz at RCC Institute of Technology, and over the years he’s become much morethan a friend—he’s become the brother Morgan never had. They’ve spent countless late nights playing League of Legends together, creating the kind of memories that only come from spending way too much time online with your friends. What has always meant the most to Morgan, though, is how warmly Raf's family has welcomed him and treated him like one of their own. There was never any question who Morgan would choose for his best man, and he’s honored to have his brother standing beside him.

Alexa is so excited to promise “for better or for worse” to Morgan on July 10th. But before there was Morgan, there was her best friend Heather. Friends literally since they were in diapers, Heather and Alexa have gone through it all together – from fights on the playground in grade school, to those formative high school years at the Collegiate, to Friday nights during Covid watching Sex and the City and talking about all the boys. Heather was the one Alexa texted that night after the first date with Morgan, to say, "Well, he's earned himself a second date" (and the rest is history!) They have each other’s backs (and hearts) in good times and in bad, and there’s no other friend Alexa could imagine having by her side today.

Surprise - Gabe is not actually a hamster! Gabe and Morgan met during their time at RCC Institute of Technology. Morgan soon recognized Gabe as the kind of friend everyone gravitates toward. He’s outgoing, has a way of bringing people together, and is genuinely interested in what’s happening in the lives of the people he cares about. He’s become one of Morgan's closest friends. Above all, his love and dedicationto his wife, Jade, is something Morgan truly admires, and he's proud to have him standing by his side as a groomsman.

The reason we are all here today! Morgan’s youngest sister is seven years apart from him, but loved her big brother enough to realize he would be a good match with that one OB doctor at work who was always complaining about being single We don’t think even Shelby knew how amazingly it would turn out, and what a perfect match Alexa and Morgan would be! Shelby has been for so many important moments, from our first Christmas together to helping Morgan orchestrate his proposal. She’s been such a help putting together our big day, despite being busy planning her own wedding in September and becoming a mama to our baby niece Astrid in June.

Groomsman
Morgan met Ryan at (you guessed it) the RCC Institute of Technology, and Ryan quickly became the sarcastic backbone of their friend group. He’s the one who taught Morgan how to play League of Legends, and he’s always the go-to for Monster Hunter sessions. Ryan has a way of keeping every conversation interesting, whether he’s joking around or somehow steering things into a deep discussion. In his own unique way, he’s always looked out for their whole group of friends, and Morgan is grateful to have one of his closest friends standing as his groomsmen.
