Mother of the Bride
The best mom ever! Constantly puts everyone else first, gives her all, loves unconditionally, and always makes us wear our snowmen shirts for Christmas. She taught me my love of gymnastics, excessive (Ryan added this adjective) cleaning & organization, and compassion for other people (she's better at it than me).
Father of the Bride
The best dad ever! He's taught me drive, resilience, and burps were always better out than in. He's been a role model, my high school basketball coach, and someone I can always count on. His side hustle is carpentry or sharking people in boardgames (Ryan is still mad about this).
Mother of the Groom
Kellie is the best mom a guy could ask for and the life of the party. She's there in a pinch for her people and perpetually putting others before herself. Kellie has taught me how to be thoughtful, patient, and have a good time while you're at it. At the wedding you'll find Kellie on the dance floor or standing on a table singing 'Sweet Caroline."
Father of the Groom
Chris is the best dad you could you ask for. He cares for family, encourages us to chase what we value, and taught me how to overdo it on a hike from an early age. He's been nothing but supportive of his children in their endeavors, and in turn we've been nothing but supportive of his 'El Tigre' outfit.
Officiant
Ryan's older brother and officiant for the wedding. Jake has been there for all of the backpacking trips, ranch work, and camping adventures one would expect with being a Herold. Has been the best older brother a guy can ask for and we're honored he can be the one to marry us!
Honor Attendant
Best Boy, Chants the Pupper. His eyebrows speak for themselves.
Maid of Honor
Best friend from College! I forced her to be my roommate lol. We’ve had many many near death experiences with our travels and outdoor adventures. She loves raccoons and cats. Most importantly she’s how I met Ryan!!
Maid of Honor
Sister!! She’s sweet and secretly hilarious. She will never say no to a Starbucks or a round of Uno. She loves movies, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and calls me sis. She’s been one of my biggest inspirations since I’ve been little.
Bridesmaid
Study Abroad friend! Randomly were roommates in Budapest and became best friends within 2 hours of meeting each other. Also have had many near death experiences and has many embarrassing stories about me (can’t wait for everyone to know about them)
Bridesman
Study Abroad friend! Met day 2 of study abroad and immediately booked a trip to Barcelona for that upcoming weekend. Brings the VIBES always, we were called “mom” & “dad” during abroad, and a HOT DJ!
Bridesmaid
College friend, from Ohio, and plot twist, made me become her friend though Facebook messenger. She’s a real one and is the main character of one of our group chats that’s named “Drunk Casey Fan Club” - don’t worry you’ll be in the club after meeting her too !!
Bridesmaid
College friend, I made her join DG (our sorority in college) and work at the career center with me. Her car sponsored my senior year and she always calls me out on my bullshit. Always down for Thai food and ice cream which I appreciate.
Bridesman
San Diego roommate - a badass foodie who always captures my Abbie-isms (currently has a running list on his notes )- we can review when we all meet but they’re pretty funny, and is always down for a hike!
Bridesmaid
Best friend since 8th grade, a badass mother of 2, and one of the smartest people I know. Oh - her name isn’t actually Webb, that’s her maiden name but it’s the only name I can call her, don’t worry I “OK’d” it with her husband who is also named Ryan. Her real name is Emily LOL.
Bridesmaid
Best friend since 6th grade, when she met me she thought I was very tan, not asian, one of the most joyful people I know, and fun fact for halloween one year I was a dark stormy cloud and she was a ray of sunshine - aka what my dad called us during basketball season
Bridesmaid
Current Bend roommate and met through Ayla and Ryan. She’s one of the most creative people I know, is unabashedly herself, loves her people hard, and always building a community wherever she goes!
Best Man
Matt is Ryan's best friend from University. They became friends over an impromptu meal before a college party and have been close ever since. Matt's down-for-anything chaotic energy fueled an adventurous college experience and many memories since graduation including Guadalajara and Nairobi.
Best Man
Pat is Ryan's best friend from growing up. Pat and Ryan met in elementary school when Pat asked "do you want to be friends or what?" Since then they've hiked, mountaineered, vibed in CA, and worked on a ranch together by the names "Squid and Waffles." He's a genuine and outgoing dude that's been there since the beginning.
Groomsman
Cousin of the groom. Max is one of four "Brother Cousins" and grew up down the street from Ryan and Jake for their entire childhood. Max was there for the street pick up basketball games, snowmobiling trips, overnight backpacking trips, and much more in between. He's been as close as a brother since the get go.
Groomsman
Cousin of the Groom and the last but not least of the "Brother Cousins." He was always along for all of the many shenanigans growing up. Since then Miles has been a backpacking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, mountain climbing buddy. Most notably, Miles survived growing up with the equivalent of three older brothers with too much free time.
Groomsman
Buddy of the Groom. Met Ryan in the Scouts and were assigned to supervise a patrol of eleven year olds to supervise. Since the scouts Dylan and Ryan have traveled around the US hitting national parks, floated turbulent rivers, and graduated Pacific University with PT degrees!
Groomsman
Buddy of the groom. Trey's been the voice of reason in one too many situations and he knows it. Trey met Ryan at U of O as they helped start a fraternity from the ground up. Since school Treys been around for multi-day river rafting trips, visits to Ab and I in San Diego, and hot tubbing in Tahoe in a blizzard. Trey will always be the only one with a realistic plan.
Groomsman
Buddy of the Groom. Phelan and Ryan met in at the U of O at a fraternity recruitment event and bonded over (get this) a love of pizza and beer. Phelan was Ryan's little in the fraternity but has, in reality, always been much taller. Now a good friend in Bend, Phelan is a reliable source of fantasy football losses and positive vibes.
Groomsman
Buddy of the Groom. Ryan and Andrew met in PT school at Pacific their first year while panic studying for some exam regarding the shoulder. Study buddies and then actual buddies, Ryan has dragged Andrew down rivers, through swamps, and up mountains neither of them had business climbing.
Groomsman
Buddy of the Groom. Ryan and 'Bang' met in grad school at Pacific University while simultaneously surviving a pandemic and weekly make or break orthopedic exams. Bang was then and is now always the most chill guy in the room. On his first backpacking trip with Ryan (and ever) he was stuck at 9000 feet in a thunderstorm and freezing rain without a negative thing to say.
Groomsman
Buddy of the Groom. Ryan and Levi met at U of O in the fraternity. Levi has been there for many an outdoor activity over the last decade including spelunking in the Ape caves, climbing South Sister, and floating the Descutes river. All around good dude.
