Amtrak
Amtrak is a great option to get to Charlottesville from the east coast. It is ~ 2.5hrs from DC, ~5hrs from Philly, and ~6.5-7 from NYC. The trains get into downtown Charlottesville - a short walk to either of the hotel room blocks.
Flight
Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport
Charlottesville has a small airport that serves six major connecting hubs and should be relatively easy to get a flight to. From the airport, it is roughly a 20 minute drive, cab, or Uber to downtown Charlottesville and the hotel blocks. Unfortunately, there is no real public transportation option downtown from the airport.
Flight
Richmond International Airport
Richmond International Airport is roughly 80 minutes from Charlottesville. Public transportation to Charlottesville from Richmond is quite limited, so flying into Richmond would require renting a car or taking a long cab ride.

The Draftsman, Charlottesville, University, Autograph Collection Hotel
We have a limited amount of rooms reserved for a block rate at The Draftsman, which is a 15-20 minute walk or a short cab ride to the Omni. The primary transportation to and from the ceremony will be leaving from the Omni, although we will arrange smaller shuttles to come to The Draftsman for guests with mobility concerns. House Or Rental
Airbnb
Airbnbs are plentiful in the Charlottesville area. We would recommend booking something within walking distance of the Omni for ease of getting to the ceremony transportation. However, there are many beautiful options all over the area and Uber is easily accessible as well for those who wish to stay further afield from downtown. If you are torn between two rentals, feel free to reach out to either of us regarding location so we can give you advice!
