Autumn Montgomery

Maid of Honor

Hi! I’m Autumn, Ashley’s sister and her Maid of Honor! From the time we were little, Ash has been my biggest cheerleader and the best older sister someone could ask for. We’ve made so many memories together from begging her to let me sleep in her room because I was too scared to sleep alone, to occasionally stealing her clothes, and from staying up late talking about our dreams and life plans, to now all of our many FaceTime calls from living across the country from each other! We’ve imagined our weddings since we were kids and I can’t believe hers is finally here. We’ve always talked about what kind of person we think we’d end up marrying, and I can’t imagine someone more perfect for her than Brent! Ash is the person I turn to when I need advice and I’ve looked up to her for as long as I can remember. If you know her, you know how intentional, kind and loving she is and I am so thankful to call her my sister! It means so much to me to stand beside her on her wedding day, and I can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter and all the happiness that’s ahead for her and Brent!!

Sarah Belcher

Bridesmaid

Ashley and I have been friends for over 8 years! We met at the University of Kentucky and were sorority sisters in Alpha Delta Pi. Throughout our friendship we have lived together, worked together, traveled the world together, served in church together, and grown to be best friends! We have so many fun memories together, but our girls trips have to be some of my favorites. Ashley has always been a friend that encouraged me in my walk with Christ and has always been someone I can count on. I remember her telling me after 2 weeks of dating Brent that she thought she would marry him! Turns out she was right! I think Ash and Brent are a great complement to each other and I know they will passionately serve Christ together. I cannot wait to stand by her side as she marries Brent and will be cheering them on every step of the way!

Cora McKinney

Bridesmaid

Ashley and I have known each other our whole lives. Our relationship has held many titles over the years - cousins, friends, teammates, sisters-in-Christ, roommates, and now bridesmaids! Growing up, we naively thought we looked so much alike that if we just switched clothes, we could fool our whole family…while that was never true, I sincerely hope my time with Ash has made my heart more like hers. Her kindness, curiosity, joy, and love for Jesus is contagious! Being roommates deepened our relationship in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I treasure all of our “getting ready chats” at Leisure Lane and Lemon Rue. These past 5 years knowing Ash have been my favorite so far and I am so excited to celebrate this new stage of life with her!!!

Sarah Kathleen Price

Bridesmaid

Ashley became my little sister and one of my best friends sophomore year of college when she joined ADPi! We quickly connected over our love for Jesus, adventure and intentional friendship. Ashley is a true gem. She is an encourager, wise, and has a way of making those around her feel invited and known. We’ve been to concerts, on trips and countless adventures and it’s an honor to be a bridesmaid on the next great adventure she is starting on!

Emma Prigge

Bridesmaid

I met Ashley in 2020 and have loved getting to share so many fun memories with her since then! We quickly became friends because of how intentional she was with her time and questions! Some of my favorite memories with her are from church, running, workout classes and traveling around the world together! I am honored to stand with her and Brent on their special day!

Ellie Ransdell

Bridesmaid

Hi everyone! I’m Ellie! I met Ash in college and have had the best ministry partner ever since. I’ve had the best adventures with this girl through church, leading Bible studies, retreats, parties and getting to do life together. I love getting to celebrate her and Brent on their special day! Fun fact: we’ve been to eight countries together!!

Callie Travis

Bridesmaid

Ryan Will

Best Man

Hi, I’m Ryan, the Best Man and best brother Brent’s ever had. I’ve known Brent the longest out of everyone in this wedding party. There are so many great memories to choose from in the time I’ve known Brent - from playing video games together to going on many family trips. The one that sticks out the most is when we were younger on vacation at the beach coming back from family photos. He was walking backwards and talking and fell into a pool. But the best part was seeing him get up still laughing and continuing on, taking it in stride. Brent is good at taking life as it comes, making the best out of what life offers. I admire him for this.

Luke Banta

Groomsman

Hey, I’m Luke! Brent and I grew up near each other—he went to OC, I went to South—and though we likely crossed paths at games, our real friendship didn’t begin until college through campus ministry. From the start, I noticed Brent’s calm and kind demeanor, which balances well with my own personality. A fun memory: Brent was frustrated with dating apps, wanting to find a God-fearing woman. I encouraged him to try a Christian app and even helped brainstorm his profile. Neither of us really knew what we were doing, but the Lord did—because the first girl he met was Ashley. The rest is history, and a beautiful testament to God’s plan. Since college, we’ve walked through a lot together and grown close. I’m always trying to convince him to move back to Louisville—so if you see me at the wedding, help me convince Ashley! Brent, I admire how you’ve grown in your faith. I feel encouraged by watching your walk with the Lord deepen over the years. I’m overjoyed you and Ashley are getting married; she is truly the perfect woman for you. I love how intentional you’ve been in preparing for marriage, and I pray your life together is blessed with many years of joy and love.

Elliott Fowler

Groomsman

Howdy, I am Elliott, Brent and I met on a church retreat our junior year of high school January of 2012. We were fast friends and after that retreat we have stayed extremely close. Over the years we have gone on many adventures (summer camps, camp outs, football games and other mischief outings I can’t tell you about on the internet). To this day we catch up about once a week. He is my A1 day 1, brother from another mother, but most importantly he is my brother in Christ. Find me at the wedding and I can share some good laughs about Brent and me. I can’t wait to stand up next to you on your and Ashley’s big day!

Bryson Hodges

Groomsman

Hey! My name is Bryson. I dangle my own carrot more than I eat them. I’m always on the go. I met Brent 15 years ago, in Mr. Riordan’s biology class. He says 16 years ago, in Mr. Hacker’s geometry class, but whose bio is this? He was always the first to make conversation and the last one to leave the conversation. I’ve spent a lot of time wandering around places with him. It reminds me of the time we went camping. Sometime after midnight it was just him and me in total darkness and an insurmountable rock. He’d say put your hand there, your foot there, now jump! It was wild! When we got to the top, the sky opened and the stars illuminated the night. Brent talked about Jesus and his love for his faith. I’ve always appreciated Brent for that. He has never wavered in his faith and always had a plan for those he surrounds himself with.

Sam Rigdon

Groomsman

Hi, I am Sam! Brent and I first met in the early days of little league, and we’ve been friends ever since. We grew up together through school, sharing a lot of great memories along the way. A particularly memorable one was the night he tried to get us kicked out of lake Jericho for “stealing” firewood. I’m most grateful for the strongest part of our friendship which has always been our shared faith in Jesus, which has shaped and strengthened our bond over the years. I’m truly honored to stand by his side today and celebrate this new chapter in his life.

Sean Robison

Groomsman

Howdy all, my name is Sean Robison and I am a groomsman. I have been fortunate enough to know Brent and the Will Family for a number of years now. Like many small town kids, we managed to be teammates at little league, parks and rec. and eventually even High School Track. Even though we went our separate ways for college, we and a couple others have stayed in touch over the years. Now, I look forward to being on your team, yet again, but this time as a groomsman on yours and Ashley’s very special day!

Jordan Vallejo

Groomsman

Heyo! I’m Jordan Vallejo. I met Brent just over a year ago but in that short timeframe since we’ve met, we’ve spent almost every week together. He’s been one of my closest friends and confidantes since we met in our Young Professionals Group at church. One of my favorite memories with Brent was running a 5k with him for the first time. My toes were numb for half the run but Brent did a great job of motivating me to finish. Brent has been such a great Godly example for me, asking intentional questions, checking in on my spiritual walk, and just having someone to talk through when situations are tough. Brent will soon be one of the groomsmen for my own wedding and it’s an honor to stand beside Brent for his wedding day.

Crystal Montgomery

Mother of the Bride

Hi everyone, I’m Ashley’s mom, Crystal. I can’t believe my little Beezus is all grown up and getting married. It’s been an absolute joy watching her grow up into the remarkable woman she is today. From a really early age Ash has had a gift for making friends and helping others, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. She inspires me with her courage, and is never afraid to try new things. Throughout her life, she’s worked hard, never given up, and always followed her faith. I’m grateful she found Brent, and I’m excited to see the beautiful journey that awaits them.

John Montgomery

Father of the Bride

Hi everyone - I’m John Montgomery, Ashley’s dad. To know Ashley is to love her, and I give God and my wife Crystal all the credit for the woman she’s become. I was in the Army when Ash was born, and seven moves later, still in the Army when she left for UK. Despite growing up in many different places her optimism and energy attracted good friends - something that still happens today. Ashley and her sister Autumn relied on each other to navigate new towns, schools, and friend groups - and I’m grateful they remain so close. Being Ashley’s dad has been an absolute blessing, and I’m constantly inspired by her faith, kindness, and servant’s heart. I know she’s found her soulmate in Brent, and I can’t wait to watch them brighten our world together.

Dana Will

Mother of the Groom

Hello! I am Dana, the proud mother of Brent. What a blessing it has been to watch him grow into the man he is today! Brent shares his inner light with everyone he meets. He has much compassion for others. The twinkle in his eyes and quick smile puts those around him at ease as they share in conversation. By hearing the experiences of his friends, Brent has developed an adventurous side. He joined the chorus in college (I didn’t even know he could sing!), he travels often and camps at the Gorge … a true lover of the outdoors. Our recent family trip to the beach gave me the opportunity to get to know Ashley better, and I know she and Brent are good together. Their love for each other shines. I am happy for this young couple. I know they are ready for their next endeavor of marriage. I can’t wait to see what God has planned for them as they grow in life together. Welcome to the family, Ashley! Much love to you both!

David Will

Father of the Groom

Hi! I am Dave, Brent's father. I watched Brent grow from a carefree, little boy into a thoughtful, considerate man. Early on, Brent easily made friends. He has the rare ability to see good in all people. I am very proud of Brent and his accomplishments. I am excited to see what God has planned for Brent and Ashley. I am not losing a son but gaining another daughter. Welcome to the Will family, Ashley!

John Strange

Officiant

Geralyn and I consider it a sweet and meaningful privilege to know Brent and Ashley. I am grateful and humbled that they have asked me to serve to officiate their special day. I first met Ashley while she was serving on the finance team at church, and it didn’t take long to see her heart for people and for serving well. In leading their small group at church, we’ve consistently seen how both of them are quick to welcome others and jump in wherever help is needed. Over the past few months, we’ve joyfully walked alongside you all as you process this season of engagement, marriage, and what lies ahead. We are genuinely excited to see how God will work in and through you in this next season of life. Our prayer is that you continue to experience the depth of God’s goodness and grace as you step into marriage. We’re so excited for you both!
