Question

Where do we park?

Answer

Parking is available and free for guests on the seminary campus. When entering Wilmore from Lexington (U.S. 29), turn left on East College Street/Jessamine Station Road. (This is the first traffic light in town. Look for a Marathon gas station on the left and the entrance to Asbury University on the right.) After you turn left onto East College Street, you will take first right onto Walnut Street. The available lots are located on either side of N. Walnut Street, on the left. Directional signs will indicate parking, directions to Estes chapel, and the Reception Hall.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be in different places?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors on Asbury’s campus. The ceremony will be at Estes Chapel and the reception will be at Asbury’s Reception Hall. The Reception Hall is a short paved walk from Estes Chapel.

Question

What time should I arrive for the wedding?

Answer

We suggest arriving at the venue at least 20-30 minutes before the ceremony starts. Please plan to arrive early!

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We would suggest formal attire for this event. We would love for men to wear either a suit or a blazer with slacks and for women to wear cocktail dresses or gowns. Wear whatever color you like, but please reserve white for the bride. Please be sure to wear your dancing shoes!! 💃🏼🕺🏼

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Although we would love to celebrate with everyone, due to limited space at the venue, we ask that you respectfully only bring those whose names are included on the invitation/RSVP.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Although we would love to celebrate with all of the kiddos, due to limited space at the venue, we ask that you respectfully only bring those whose names are included on the invitation/RSVP.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP by February 14th.

Question

What if I have limited mobility?

Answer

Guests with limited mobility may be dropped off in front of Estes Chapel on Lexington Avenue. For the reception, you can exit Estes Chapel by turning left out of its front foyer, then follow the hallway into the next connected building where you will be able to take an elevator down one floor. The elevator will drop you off at ground level where you can then reach the reception without any stairs.
