The dress code for this event is cocktail attire. Think swanky, downtown, rooftop, dinner party. Please no jeans, sneakers, or white/ivory/cream dresses.
If you are planning on indulging in alcoholic beverages, we recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft to get to and from the wedding. Otherwise the Thompson Hotel, where the wedding will be held, has valet parking for $20 (not applicable overnight). There are also plenty of paid public parking garages nearby, the closest being Premier Parking 501 Congress at 112 E 5th St., Austin, TX 78701
Please arrive at 5:00pm, the ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm.
While we love all of our friend's/family's kiddos dearly, this event is adults only. It's important for us that everyone is able to relax and enjoy their time without having to worry about bedtimes, food spills, or upset kids. If you are traveling into Austin with your kid, we are happy to get babysitter referrals for you.
This is an intimate little wedding celebration. Unless indicated on your invitation, please do not bring any extra guests to the wedding.
We think you will have the best Austin experience if you stay in the downtown area, or just south of downtown. If you're looking on airbnb these neighborhood/areas are all great: South Congress, South Lamar, Clarksville, East 6th (east of I35), Travis Heights, Zilker, & Bouldin Creek. We live and hang in south Austin, if you stay north of downtown, it will be more difficult for us to see you outside of the wedding.
YES! Please make note of any dietary restrictions or food allergies when you RSVP. As someone who has my own dietary restrictions, and is typically hardly able to eat at weddings, this is a priority!

Yes of course! We encourage everyone to take photos and videos throughout the evening. Please just try not to get in the way of the professional photographer. We think some of the most special moments are captured candidly on people's phones. We even have a shared google photo album where everyone can upload and view each others photos from the weekend.
