Cocktail attire, but remember, we’ll be in the jungle! So ladies, feel free to break out the bright colors and bold prints in a maxi dress or elevated sundress. Gentlemen, a lightweight suit or dress pants and a button down are great, and if you’ve been wanting to try a fun color, now’s your chance! Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place in the sand, so please keep appropriate footwear in mind.

It's Costa Rica's unofficial national slogan, and you hear it everywhere. The meaning of pura vida is “pure life,” and it's come to symbolize the simple, cheerful outlook and lifestyle of what is often called the happiest country in the world. You can use it as a greeting, to express well-being, as an acknowledgment, or simply to embody a way of life.
