For the health and safety of all guests, we request that you are vaccinated. Here are additional precautions being taken for the wedding: 1. DC has re-instituted its mask mandate, so all guests will be required to wear a mask with the exception of eating and drinking. 2. The Hay-Adams requires all employees to be vaccinated (this includes chefs, waitstaff, etc.) 3. The Hay-Adams reception venue has balcony doors that will be kept open all night (weather permitting) to allow additional airflow as well as opportunity for guests to easily move outside throughout the evening. 4. The church holds 800 people and The Hay-Adams venue holds 200 people. There will be 130 people total in attendance at the ceremony and reception. Thank you for your patience throughout this process. If you've RSVP'd "yes" but your plans change, we completely understand. We ask that you let us know as soon as your plans change so we can make the necessary adjustments on our side. Above all, we want this to be a fun and safe celebration for all! Love, Molly and Scott
We were each using a dating app that matched people based on proximity... Scott was on his way to Mexico for a climbing trip with a layover in the Houston airport and Molly's daily commute to work routed her near the same airport. The app matched them, but it took a few texts and days later for them both to realize Scott didn't live in Houston and Molly didn't live in Des Moines. Still, their schedules overlapped again in Denver six weeks later. They met in person and the rest is history. Two and a half years later, we can't wait to say "I do" with all of you!!
