We're Getting Married!

After meeting on the very first day of college, Ryan immediately knew "that girl in the white shirt and jean shorts" was something special. And while their relationship started as a strong friendship, feelings inevitably blossomed after we left Boston College sophomore year for the summer. For Molly, it was in those first few days apart where she knew there was something greater at play. For Ryan, I guess there was truly a limit to the number of times he could hear his dad say "get your shine on" before making his move. And boy, are we both happy he did.

Faced with a few last-minute logistical issues, Ryan waited for Molly to come up with the brilliant idea of heading to her family's Plymouth house for the weekend to celebrate her mom's birthday. And once she did, the rest of Ryan's plan fell into place. 'Coincidentally,' Molly's incredibly talented cousin needed a couple to photograph that weekend to help launch a new product offering. If you've seen her work, you'd know one just doesn't say no to photos like these! As we were taking pictures, Ryan got down on one knee and asked a question that resulted in the easiest 'yes' of Molly's life. And just as Molly thought the surprises were over, both her family and Ryan's were at the Plymouth house for a night of champagne-popping, clam-baking, dance-partying, story-swappin' celebrations. Best kept secret. Best team of schemers. Best day ever.

A day this special is made even more so when surrounded by close family and friends. We fell in love with Block Island the second we stepped off the ferry, and know you will as well. Hope to see you there!
