The airport is about a two hour drive to Granby in good traffic.

We recommend you rent a car, if you are able, to explore the mountains on your own time. There are many rental companies to choose from at DIA.

There are no traditional hotels in the nearby area so we recommend that folks find an Airbnb or VRBO at Granby Ranch or The Inn at Silvercreek.

This is a newer option in Granby. You don't need to have an RV to stay they also have cabins, airstreams and tents.

Traffic

If you are flying in on Friday afternoon expect heavy traffic on I-70 into the mountains. It is the one of the most congested times on a regular weekend and many people like to head to the mountains to see the aspens change color this time of year.
