Things To Do

We're so excited to share some of our favorite activities and sights in the area! There will be too many options so pick whatever suits you best! Be sure to visit websites in advance of your visit, since most of the places will have different hours of operation or COVID policies in place.

National Mall

Washington, DC
, (202) 426-6841

You can't go wrong spending the day around the National Mall, viewing the Washington Monument and other memorials (Lincoln, Jefferson, WWII, Vietman, MLK Jr., etc).

National Museum of African American History and Culture

1400 Constitution Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20560
, (844) 750-3012

A recent addition to the Smithsonian national museums, and a MUST SEE. It can be very heavy, but still inspiring. It is open now, and requires free timed-entry passes that you can book online.

Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

600 Independence Avenue Southwest, Washington, DC 20560
, (202) 633-2214

You can see the Wright Brothers plane and the Lunar Module from Apollo 11, for starters. It's great for kids and adults alike! It reopens on July 30 and you can book your free timed-entry pass starting July 23.

Watermark

1 Dock Street, Annapolis, MD 21401
, (410) 268-7600

40-minute tours - hours a bit limited since it's early in the season, but great if you have the time! $17/adult, $6/children 3-11

Fort McHenry

Where the inspiration for the Star Spangled Banner happened
