When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The sooner the better, but at the latest April 15th, 2022.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Here on Zola! But we also plan to register at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive half an hour before the start of the ceremony (5pm), to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The dress code is formal; suit and tie for men, dresses/skirts/pansuits/etc. for women.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You can bring a plus-one if your invitation is addressed to your name "and guest." Otherwise, we kindly ask that you do not bring a date.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome if your invitation is addressed to your last name "and family." If you have any specific questions just contact me or Alan! *Kids younger than middle school-age are not included.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, right outside the venue. If you are staying at a hotel, shuttle service will also be provided and therefore an option if you do not have a car with you.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttle service to and from the venue.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be a rehearsal dinner for immediate family and the wedding party.

If I am flying to Chicago from out of state/country, how will I get to the hotel?

Answer

If you are flying into O'Hare or Midway airports and need to be picked up, contact me or Alan directly and we will work with you to ensure you get to where you need to go.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

While Chicago weather can indeed be unpredictable, mid-May is usually beautiful. Temperatures in the 70's are generally what we see. However, springtime here does see a fair amount of rain.

Makray Memorial Golf Club in Barrington, Illinois.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Not really, but our colors will be mauve and white.
