Wedding Party

Caitlin Muncy

Matron of Honor

Caitlin and Miranda go way back to the Carroll Patriot days, 20 years way back! So much has happened in those 20 years that it'd be impossible to fit in this space. We've experienced negatives like heartbreak and distance and personal struggles but we've also woven positives like babies and weddings and new careers and girls trips and wine in as well. Our friendship has grown so much stronger in the past 2 years than it ever was in the 18 before. I am thankful for her strength, wisdom, kindness, and tenacity.

Maggie Scarboro

Maid of Honor

Maggie and Miranda have worked together at EJMS for the past 3 years. We first actually "met" when we both chaperoned the 8th grade DC trip and were given each other as a roommate. While we bonded quickly, it took a little while for the friendship to truly flourish. Maggie is, quite frankly, a "mini-Miranda" and not always in the greatest of ways lol. We continue to learn how to grow into the people that we truly want to be, and we challenge each other daily to keep on going, even if we don't want to. We tell each other what needs to be said, instead of what we think the other wants to hear. She has fully embraced Andrey into her life and pushes me to be the best I can be for him.

Lauren Medley

Bridesmaid

Miranda and Lauren went to the University of Kentucky together and were sorority sisters in AOPi. They quickly became friends after Lauren transferred from WKU. Lauren truly values the importance of a photograph, and is always up for taking a picture (or 8) to document nearly everything. Lauren has a heart of gold and loves with every ounce of it. This friendship has held strong over the years and has been full of late nights, roadtrips, photo shoots, crappy friends (and even crappier ex's), and the entrance into the "real world". We have watched each other grow and mature and blossom into these pretty incredible women!

Courtney Becknell

Bridesmaid

Courtney and Miranda have taught together at EJMS for the past several years (so many that I've lost count). What began as casual acquaintances at "work things" has blossomed into a one of a kind friendship. Together we have done it all...roadtrips, countless visits to cracker barrel, Auntie Randa playdates, middle school drama, tragic losses, crazy friends, and the list could go on and on. She's the only one who knows most of Miranda's food quirks and combinations (probably more than even Andrey knows!) and challenges her shopping purchases frequently by asking "do you really need that?". My bank account thanks you!

Ashley Dillon

Bridesmaid

Ashley and Miranda met the first day of their freshman year in study hall. Coincidentally, this was the same study hall class where Andrey swears him and Miranda met! Ashley and Miranda quickly became the best of friends, and 20 years later, it wouldn't feel right not having her stand up with us on our wedding day!

David Castel

Best Man

David took on the role as a big brother a short 22 months into his life. Every since then he’s taken on the role without thinking twice. From playing sports together, working together at Sam’s Club, and also sharing a love of soccer. Maybe not liking it so much during high school when he got his drivers license and the rule was, he had to cart me around all over the place first if he wanted to go out with his friends 😂. I was fortunate to be my brother’s side, as his best man while he married the love of his life, Mallory, and I couldn’t ask for anything better than to have him be my best man when I marry mine!

Cory Richardson

Groomsman

Cory and Andrey have been friends for over 13 years. They met while refereeing their very first soccer academy in Dayton at the Warrior Soccer Classic. Cory and I have been friends since the beginning. We moved in the referee world attending state, regional, and national tournaments together. I was in attendance and a groomsman in his Cancun wedding 6 years ago. Speaking Spanish and sharing a love of soccer together, Cory is my go to on any tennis or soccer related matters.

Jarred Stull

Groomsman

Jarred and Andrey met in 2003 while working together at Sams Club. Cashiering and Cart retrieval was the name of the game during the day while attending Gin Mill and Wallaby’s late nights. We have shared games of indoor soccer to pickup basketball and football over the years. We have been roommates together, and I have been a guest at his residence from the Gulf Coast of Florida to the Pacific Coast in Seattle. I was fortunate enough to stand up next to him at his wedding earlier in 2019 and am proud to have him stand next to me at mine.

Ryan Blanford

Groomsman

Ryan is Miranda's "baby" brother, even though he's grown taller than her and has two babies of his own! He’s always been the daredevil of the family and makes everyone’s hearts stop with his motocross racing, jumping out of airplanes, and working on skyscrapers. Yet, while attending Andrey’s bachelor party in Vegas he played it safe by making sure he was in bed by 8pm every night and sticking to the penny slots 🎰

Allen White

Groomsman

Andrey’s first nephew who gave him his role as an uncle. Allen is already shaping up to be wonderful young man! He plays football and basketball in addition to playing his role as a big brother to three younger boys. He was such a good groomsman at my brother David’s wedding that I had to hire him again to stand next to me when I marry Miranda!

Ryder Blanford

Ring Bearer

Ryder is Miranda's 5 year old nephew. He gave Miranda one of the greatest titles she has ever had, "Sissy Miranda (or Biranda depending on who you ask lol), and he will always take up a pretty large section of her heart. He's one of the most important men in her life behind Andrey, her dad, and her brother. Ryder has the sweetest heart and loves to watch how things work!

Rylan Blanford

Flower Girl

Rylan is Miranda's 2 year old niece. She made Miranda an aunt again and has been a little firecracker ever since. If you want any indication of how Miranda acted as a child, just take a look at this one. She does her own thing and fully embraces it. If she doesn't want to, she won't. Simple as that! Fingers crossed she wants to walk down the aisle...
