Bowling + Music = prime place for Kellogg bowling teams to relive their glory days. And it's right across from the wedding venue.
Go here for an amazing view of the city & a cocktail
An iconic brewery just across the street from the Wythe
It's an open-air food fair, so what Andrew's dreams are made of! On Saturdays, it's open 11am-6pm.
It can be crowded, but it's worth the walk! Our favorite way to do this one is to start from Manhattan and then explore Dumbo & Brooklyn Heights.
It's Mina's favorite museum in the city (it's basically a tenement time capsule and brings to life the stories of the real people who lived in the building). There's also a ton of great restaurants around the museum for before/after.
Our favorite spot for coffee & a sweet treat (Oprah once listed their cookies as one of her favorite things & we'd agree). There are a few locations in the city, but this one is closest to Mina's old apartment & our favorite. There's also a sit down restaurant that's great for brunch.
Mina used to live in Little Italy, and we'd go here for Sunday dinners more than we should probably admit. Our go-to order is the Sunday Salad and spaghetti & meatballs.
Technically this is Howard's favorite spot, but it's one of ours too. It's a quirky/pretty spot to sit and relax (and get a photo or two).
It's touristy, but it was also Andrew's go-to grocery shopping spot when he lived in Chelsea. It's a great place to wander around and try a bunch of delicious NYC eats. Andrew especially loves the tacos at Los Tacos No. 1
Our other favorite iconic cookie spot. The original is around the corner on 74th street--but avoid the line there & go to this newer/bigger outpost (the cookies taste exactly the same). We came here (a lot) when we lived on the Upper West Side, and now there are more locations across the city.
The hotel's rooftop is where Andrew brought his Tinder dates....and Mina when they were just friends. (But seriously, it's a good place for a drink outdoors).
The place where Andrew risked it all to get out of the friend zone. (He succeeded). If you're in the mood for a fancy cocktail, check out Employees Only down the street.
The spot where we got engaged! But also where The New York City Ballet performs, and The Empire Hotel across the street has a rooftop where you can grab a drink with a view.
Mina's old office at Conde Nast. If you haven't been to the top, it's worth a visit. (And so is the Oculus).
Andrew's home for the last 6 years. Not worth a visit, but Bryant Park and the New York Public Library across the street are.
