Mot hotels in our hotel block will give you direct access to this treasure, but you can access it all throughout downtown! Walk along the rivier, margarita in hand, around all kinds of restaurant and tourist fun. Parts are loud; parts are quiet; there are bridges and tunnels and lots to explore - just don't go into the water!
Highly recommend taking a river boat tour, the river walk is full of fun history, facts, and architecture, and (especially if you ask Elena Bell), a guided tour is the best way to learn a lot about is a short, fun, exciting time!
I could spend HOURS looking at all the shops and eating all the incredible Mexican food. This is the largest Mexican market in the the country. There is often music playing, tons of vendors and shops for souvenirs, handmade goods, clothing, shoes, a much more. I'd spend the whole day here if I could!
This little arts district on the south bank of the Riverwalk is filled with historical architecture, fine art, handmade goods, and some cute restaurants. Direct access from the river walk at the Arneson River Theatre aka the place where Miss Congeniality taught us that the perfect date is April 25th - it's not too hot, it's not too cold; all you need is a light jacket.
Just don't forget it.
While the Pearl Brewery is long closed, this area just up the riverwalk has become a trendy place for food, shopping, a year-round farmer's market and more!
