Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

In lieu of a more formal shuttle service, we hope this option will allow for more comfort and flexibility. You will use your Uber app as normal to request the ride, but for your payment method you can "add voucher code" and input either r7Q9mXqkbmX or rT5UDRZ5yI8. You can use these vouchers for any ride to/from the venue (anywhere within 10 miles) between noon and midnight on March 2nd covering up to $20 of any requested ride (average Uber from the Westin to the venue is about $9 - so it should cover your full cost, sans any personal tip)

Question

What should we do with our kids?

Answer

Kids are a huge part of our life, and we are so lucky to have so many friends and family with kids who are choosing to come celebrate with us. We want to make sure that everyone coming has the best time possible, so we will be turning the groom's getting-ready suite into a supervised kid's room during the wedding reception!  We will have two babysitters from Twinkle Toes Nanny Agency (Karina and Andrea) from approx. 6:00-10:00 pm. Cocktail hour goes from 5:30-6:30pm, so once the babysitters have arrived, you are welcome to head down to meet them and drop off anything in the space. Dinner will begin at 7pm and children will be seated with their families for the meal. Kids are absolutely welcome to stay at the party for any/all of the event, dancing the night away with all of us, but we wanted to have another option for kids who need a quieter space, get tired, or for families who want a little break! The space is not particularly big, but has a large couch, a coffee table, and a TV. We will have some toys and art supplies and plan to play a movie (or two) for the kids to enjoy. Families must remain on premises and give their contact information to the babysitters should they need to be reached during the night. We do ask that families bringing their kids along remain vigilant and responsible for keeping them safe for the entire event. On the other hand, we totally understand that bringing your kids along isn't for everyone - especially if you're planning to relax and enjoy our open bar! San Antonio is a big city with lots of care providers! We recommend using services like sittercity.com or care.com to find reputable babysitters for the night!

Question

Please explain your dress code?

Answer

Yes! We have lovingly named our dressy code FANCY SCHMANCY aka cocktail formal. What this mean to us is that we'd love for people to dress up as this is a special occasion, but we want you to feel happy, comfortable, and excited about it. Is there an outfit you've been hanging on to with no place to show it off? Now's your chance! The more color the better!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are doing our registry primarily right here through ZOLA as well as Target, but we welcome gifts of all kind. We appreciate everyone's effort and kindness in celebrating with us - your presence is a gift!

Question

Do I get a plus-one? Can I bring any additional guests?

Answer

We kindly ask that only people who are named on your invitations attend our event. Our venue has a limited capacity, and we want to make sure we fill it with our nearest and dearest.

Question

How do I RSVP? What happens if I miss or I'm unable to let you know by the Jan. 24th deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by clicking the RSVP button at the top of this page, inserting the name of one person in your party, and completing the questionnaire all the way though! The deadline to RSVP is January 24th, but we may have a little wiggle room through the end of the week if you really need; however, at that point we need to submit the official headcount to vendors like the caterer and venue. If we don't hear from you by that point, we may not be able to accommodate any additions. If you are still unsure if you will be able to make it, we do need to you make a decision by this point. Please do not RSVP in the positive unless you know for sure that you'll be making the trip. We understand that emergencies happen and people who are planning to attend may have something unexpected come up; however, any last-minute changes to the guest list are only possible at the extreme discretion of our vendors.
