Things and terms to know about the Poquitos. Like what does Poquitos mean? And why airhorns?
Question

Poquitos?

Answer

It is Spanish for little or little bit. But that's not why we use it. There's a part of Despacito, the 2017 mega hit by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, in which they say "Poquito, Poquito" and for some reason that became our nickname for each other. Matt is also very short, so it makes sense. So that's why you are attending #JustAPoquitoWedding

Question

Airhorns?

Answer

Yes. Matt really loves airhorns. Like a lot. So download the Ham Horn app on your trusty smartphone and get ready to make it rain airhorns.

Question

Bangers?

Answer

Not to be confused with bangers and mash, these bangers are only to be served with mash-ups! To quote Tom Haverford in 'Parks and Recreation,' "Every song I download has to pass a series of rigorous tests to answer one simple question: Is it a banger?" Whitney's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" - verified banger. 50 Cent - "In Da Club." Banger. "Party in the USA" - yuppers. Bangers are all you're gonna hear. Then, there is the most pure of all bangers, CVS Bangers. These are the songs that you hear while shopping at the CVS, and I quote, "A SAMPLING OF THOSE MAGIC TUNES THAT PLAY WHEN YOU’RE CONTEMPLATING HOW RIDICULOUS YOU WOULD LOOK CARRYING 24 ROLLS OF TOILET PAPER ON THE TRAIN." Complete with airhorns, gunshots and a voice shouting out Elián González and Obama, amongst others, it's the soundtrack to Matt's life. Be ready to hear plenty of these during the reception!

Question

Tacos

Answer

The food of the gods. Matt and Mimi love tacos, and we eat them often. And so will you during the reception. Hooray!

Question

Parking

Answer

This is a much more boring topic, but important none the less. Parking is available beginning at 4 p.m. at the lot located at 990 Kalamath Street (Local 9). It is a short walk from the venue. Cars must be moved from the venue by 7 a.m. the following day, so if you are planning to drink, don't drive and take a Lyft.

Question

Slivovitz

Answer

A plum brandy popular in Balkan countries, known as Croatian mouthwash, according to some of Matt's relatives. An acquired taste, strong enough to put "hair on your teeth," but apparently possessing magical health qualities that allow you to drink all day while playing cards. You may get a nip or two during the wedding if you play your cards right.

For all the days along the way
