Jay & Micah grew up together and have now been best friends for 32 years. Micah has always been there for Jay through the thickest of times and also the most memorable. In Jay's words, "He is the most loyal human being any guy could ever ask for in a best friend, never hesitating to drop everything to help someone in need. He is a tough guy but has a heart of gold." We are so glad he will be there with us in attendance.

I’m thrilled to have Brenda by my side on this special day. We’ve known each other for seven wonderful years when our journey began in a professional setting. She was an amazing MC that I recommended to my customers, and from there, our business relationship blossomed into a beautiful friendship. She has brought so much joy and laughter into my life, and I couldn’t imagine this day without her. Thank you, Brenda, for being not just a wonderful friend, but an incredible part of my life.

Laila, my incredible cousin and bridesmaid, has always been more like a sister to me. We grew up together, sharing countless summer memories in Mexico. While Rosie and I were up to no good she was the voice of reason but one bad decision we would always come together on was bugging their brother and mine. We would always gang up on them. She’s not just family; she’s one of my best friends and a constant source of joy in my life. I’m so lucky to have her by my side on this special day.

Rosie, my wonderful cousin and bridesmaid, has always felt like a sister to me also. Growing up together and spending summer after summer in Mexico, we were handfuls and most often got in trouble by my parents while Laila was always cautious on what she was a part of. She has been a true source of laughter in my life and though we don’t live in the same state, we have always had a strong bond. I’m so grateful to have her standing by me on this special day!

Julius, my son—my first love. Eighteen years ago, he changed my entire world. He’s the reason I pushed so hard to succeed, to create a life full of love, stability, and purpose. Every step I’ve taken, he’s been right there with me. He’s seen my journey—watched me grow, stumble, heal, and keep searching for the love I truly deserved. To have him walk me down the aisle isn’t just an honor… it’s everything. It’s a full-circle moment with the person who first showed me what unconditional love really is. I couldn’t be prouder of him, or more grateful to share this moment with him by my side.

They have given us so much of their time and have continuously provided us with biblical counsel when needed. It is such an honor and so special for us to have Pastor Mike officiate our wedding and have them both join us in celebrating this special day!
