Flying to Ljubljana, Slovenia

There are options to fly to Slovenia - Ljubljana Airport Currently all available flights require one stop, there might be direct flights coming up in few weeks time. You can choose from numerous airlines flying to Ljubljana like Norwegian, Lufthansa, KLM, etc. Ljubljana airport is 30min car drive away from the city center. There is a 1.30min car drive from Ljubljana airport to the Wedding venue in Goriska Brda

Flying to Venice, Italy

There are two Venice airports you can choose from. Venice Marco Polo and Venice Treviso You can most often find direct flights with Norwegian, Ryanair or Lufthansa to Venice. There is a 1.30min car drive from Venice Marco polo airport to the Wedding venue in Goriska Brda, and a 1.35min drive from Venice Treviso airport.

Trieste Airport is a smaller airport, but still worth looking, You can find direct flights with Ryanair or Lufthansa there There is a 30min car drive from Trieste airport to the Wedding venue in Goriska Brda.

If you do not plan renting a car this is a great service. Rental Car

Car rental and transport across Slovenia

The easiest way to travel across Slovenia is by a car. If you are curious to explore more of Slovenia this is the option we would recommend. It's worth considering that if you rent a car in Italy an additional charge for passing the border will be added. If you would like to avoid that take the Goopti shuttle to Slovenia and rent a car there.

For those travelling around Slovenia by car

If you travel by car in Slovenia and plan on using the motorways and freeways, you need an e-vignette. You can travel by car from city to city without using the freeways, but it will take you longer to travel, and you might want one less thing to worry about when visiting Slovenia.
