- Slovenia has 24 gastronomic regions, three wine-growing countries and more than 400 typical local and regional dishes and drinks.
- Slovenians love to grow their grapes, there’s a vineyard for every 70 people throughout the country.
- There are slightly more than 10.000 beekeepers in Slovenia, or almost 5 per thousand inhabitants.
- Slovenians are polyglots, as 96 percent of adults understand or use at least one foreign language, and a quarter at least five.
- On a global scale, Slovenia is the leader in terms of the number of tractors – 1 in 17 has one.
