Haskins Valley Campground is the largest campground around the lake and certainly the most popular because of its location and amenities. Haskins Valley Campground has 65 campsites that can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. There are some walk-in, tent-only sites. Reservations are available for many sites. A 2-night minimum is required for those making reservations. Sites 10 and 14 - 29 are first-come, first served sites. A boat launch ramp is nearby.

Bucks Lake Camp is the perfect basecamp for your next adventure. Our family and pet friendly property offers tent, RV and group campsites with convenient lake access. Located in Haskins Bay, camp is protected from the wind and the noise of the main lake. Perfect for paddled boarding, kayaking and swimming. If you are a nature lover, looking for a quite sanctuary, or just want to finally use that gone-fishin' sign, this is the place for you. In efforts to keep our campground quiet and enjoyable we do have strict generator rules. Please review our rules prior to booking.
Travel Note
Hutchins Group Campground is on the northwest side of Bucks Lake in the Plumas National Forest. Visitors at the campground enjoy fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and boating. A boat launch ramp is nearby at Sandy Point. A lakeside beach there makes for great swimming (no lifeguard on duty). Hutchins Group Campground has 3 group sites, all can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. Each site holds up to 25 people. The campground is among the trees, a short distance from the lake. Reservations are required. Water system may still be broken. Bring your own water supply.
