Welcome Party Camping Style!
We’re kicking off the weekend with a casual welcome party for our closest friends and family — a chance to gather, relax, and get to know all the amazing people who mean so much to us. Join us for drinks, appetizers, and good conversation around the campfire. We’d love to hear your favorite stories about the bride and groom and start the weekend off with plenty of laughs and great company. Dress is casual — think camping vibes, casual and easy: jeans, shorts, skirts, or casual dresses optional, bring cozy layers for when it cools down.
10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Swimsuits
Join us for a fun and relaxing day on the lake, with plenty of time to unwind, enjoy the water, and hang out with friends. We’ll also have games and activities mixed in for anyone feeling a little competitive. If you know us, you know we’re big Survivor fans, so we’re throwing in a few island-inspired challenges—think puzzles, teamwork, and a little friendly competition. Come relax, play, and enjoy the day… and when it’s time to compete, may the best tribe win!
3:30 pm - 4:00 pm
We'll be exchanging vows in a beautiful open meadow beside Haskins Campground, surrounded by nature and the people we love most. This peaceful setting, tucked away in the trees, feels like the perfect place to start the next chapter of our lives. You can park near the fire station where you will see our setup in the meadow right next to it. After the ceremony, there is an option to take a shuttle or hop on pontoon boats and cruise across the lake to our reception at the Lakeshore Restaurant — a fun and memorable way to kick off the celebration!
4:30 pm - 10:00 pm
After the ceremony, we’ll make our way across the lake to the Lakeshore Restaurant for an evening of celebration. We’ll kick things off with a cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner overlooking the water. A live band and DJs will set the tone for a night full of dancing, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

Campground afterparty attire! Get creative...or comfy!
While totally optional, feel free to bring some fun accessories or a change of clothes for the after-party — think hats, funky glasses, scarves, or even a faux fur coat. The more playful, the better! We’ll be heading back to the campgrounds to hang out by the fire, listen to music, and enjoy the rest of the night together. This is also a great time to change into something cozy — sweats, hoodies, or whatever helps you relax and stay warm. It might get chilly after dark, so don’t forget a jacket or some layers!
