Our love story begins with a match on OKCupid, a Harry Potter pick up line, and flirty texting banter about...math. Only days after our match, we met for our first date at Bowler City. Over the course of several hours, we barely made it through one full game, spending most of our time talking in between turns. One slightly awkward yet adorable hug at the end of the night later and...the rest is history! We now own Melissa's childhood home, where we fill our down time cooking new recipes, binge watching our favorite comedies, and snuggling up reading until we fall asleep.

Though we'd normally take longer beach vacations to Rehoboth Beach or Cape May, in the midst of the pandemic, we instead chose to stay closer to home and visit Long Branch for the day. We found an unusually secluded spot for a New Jersey beach, and I walked to check the water temperature as soon as we finished setting up. The ring was burning a hole in Mike's pocket, and when I turned around to come back from the water, he walked toward me and got down on one knee. And here we are! We cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together, and are so grateful to get to celebrate our special day with our wonderful friends and family.
