The town of Kingston is full of history and charm! Take a walk around the old Uptown Stockade District and admire the colorful and historical architecture of the one-time capital of New York! Be sure to stop in one of the many art and antique shops around town, or grab a bite and a cup of coffee at one of the local bakeries.
Officially known as the First Reformed Protestant Dutch Church of Kingston, the Old Dutch Church was built in 1852 and is home to one of the oldest continuously existing congregations in the country. The Old Dutch Church cemetery also contains over 70 gravestones thought to belong to revolutionary war heros.
Museum about the maritime history of the Hudson River, its tributaries, and related industries. Definitely worth a visit for any history buffs out there!
