Flight
There are many airports you can fly into, including Providence, Boston, and Hartford! Providence will obviously be the closest to our wedding venues, but we wanted to give information about the other airports in case you'd like to see another New England city during your visit or if those other options may be more affordable for you. If you are flying into the Providence airport, leave the arrival level from the baggage area and follow the signs directing you to "Rideshare Pickups" for Uber/Lyft. Or, take the skybridge with the moving platform to the rental car/train station garage.
Travel Note
From the airport, you can also take Bus 66 directly to downtown. It is a 20 minute ride. Get off at Kennedy Plaza or the train station (stop name is Park Row). The fare is $2 per boarding per person (cash only, or can pay through the WAVE app).
Train
If you'd like to lengthen your vacation, a visit to Boston is only a 45 minute train ride away and can cost as low as $13 on weekdays, and is all you can ride for $10 on weekends! NYC is also accessible by train, but make sure you purchase your Amtrak tickets in advance to get the best price.
Travel Note
Uber and Lyft are readily available and very affordable in Providence. Providence also has rentable city e-scooters and bikes! It is a very walkable city that we hope you get time to explore!
Travel Note
If you are interested in staying in a hotel downtown, we recommend the Hilton Providence, Homewood Suites, and Courtyard by Marriott Providence downtown. There are also affordable AirBnb options in Providence in the Federal Hill and College Hill neighborhoods. You can also expand your search to hotels or rentals in Warwick (near the airport, south of the city) or Pawtucket (north of the city). Rhode Island is the smallest of the 50 states, so even if you are outside of Providence, you won't be far and it will be easy to get to the wedding venue by public transportation or Uber/Lyft!
