What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding celebration will take place amidst the timeless beauty of the Tuscan countryside. Semi-formal attire is requested—polished and graceful, with a nod to the romantic setting. For women: Midi or maxi dresses in elegant fabrics and colors that complement the warm Tuscan light. Our wedding party will be wearing blue! For men: Lightweight suits or dress pants with a button-down shirt and optional blazer. Ties are not required but welcomed if you prefer a more tailored look. Loafers or dress shoes recommended. Think soft colors, classic silhouettes, and textures that move beautifully in the Tuscan breeze. Most of all, wear something you feel fabulous in as we celebrate love under the Italian sun. Our bridesmaids will be wearing light blue.

What is the dress code for the Welcome Dinner?

Answer

Our dress code for the welcome dinner is Cocktail- elevated, yet relaxed to suit the stunning vineyard setting. Think semi-formal with a touch of Tuscan charm: For women: midi or knee-length dresses, long flowy sun dresses or skirts, or dressy jumpsuits. Comfortable block heels, wedges, or chic flats are ideal for walking on grass and gravel. For men: dress pants or chinos with a button-down shirt or light blazer. Loafers or dress shoes (no ties required unless you’d like!). Keep fabrics light, colors soft or jewel-toned, and let the beauty of the landscape inspire your look. We can’t wait to toast with you under the Tuscan sky!

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the villa by 4:00 PM on April 9th. Check-in opens at 3:00 PM, though you’re welcome to arrive a bit earlier to relax, enjoy the surroundings, and spend time with loved ones before we gather for the Welcome Dinner that evening.

When is payment due for my room?

Answer

The total cost of your room will be charged to the card on file in the month of January 2026.

Is transportation to the venue from the airport/city center included?

Answer

Unfortunately, transportation to the venue from the airport is not included. However, you may reach out to Palagina for help with transport. They can get you in contact with a taxi company. From the Florence city center to Palagina it is approximately 200 euro per minivan. The closest train station to the venue is Figline Valdarno. It is possible to take the train to this station and grab a taxi to the venue. Taxis from the train station to Palagina are approximately 55 euro per minivan.

How do I book my room?

Answer

To book your room please reach out to info@palagina.it. You will include your name, the dates in which you are staying, and that you are going for the wedding of Mikayla Alberico and Joshua Rousculp. Mikayla has personally reached out to one individual in each party with this information. Only one person from each party needs to book the room.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport to the venue is the Florence Airport, officially Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR). The airport is 51 km or 45 minutes by car to Palagina.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know any food allergies or dietary restrictions in the RSVP card you will receive via mail along with your formal invitation and we will make sure to communicate those to the catering staff.

Unfortunately, due to limited space and accommodations we are not able to honor any plus one guests. Thank you so much for understanding!

Where is the venue?

Answer

We chose Palagina as our venue because of its beautiful scenery and location in Tuscany. It is located approximately 45 minutes from Amerigo Vespucci Airport/Florence Airport (FLR) and 30 minutes from the Florence city center. All activities will take place here to include the Welcome Dinner, Ceremony, and Reception. All guests are invited to these events and all guests are able to stay on property for 2 nights. Please feel free to browse the website via the link we provided on the travel page and get to know the venue and its surround areas. At this time please do not contact Palagina to book your room. You will receive a link from Palagina to book your room at a later date. We will let you know via email when to expect the link!
