A match was made on October 8, 2019 during Mikayla's sophomore year and Josh's freshman year of college at the University of South Carolina. We met at a little western bar called Moosehead in downtown Columbia, South Carolina. We had a blast getting to know each other and we quickly became inseparable! In 2021, we adopted our beloved cat, Coco. We have been through college, a global pandemic, job offers, several moves, countless South Carolina football games and many other ups and downs together. In 2023, we moved to Wilmington, North Carolina which we now call home. Josh is a project manager for Milo's Tea Company and Mikayla will graduate in May 2025 from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Masters of Social work with the goal of becoming a mental health therapist. We enjoy spending time at the beach, checking out new bars and restaurants, and spending time with our amazing friends and family. We are both so excited to see where life takes us next.
