Because Anna Maria Island is so small, and mostly residential the hotel accommodations are mainly inland, in the city of Bradenton. We have found the Courtyard and the SpringHill Suites by Marriott to be very reasonably priced and in a good location. In some of our searching we have found that  home rental sites like VRBO have competitive pricing, and are much closer to the venue.
