Things To Do

We know that coming to our wedding means traveling a long distance so we hope that you'll make a vacation out of it. Anna Maria truly has some of the most seclusive and beautiful beach scenery in the country with its soft white sand, beautiful clear water, and fresh seafood. Anna Maria has been one of Florida's best kept secrets for years. In addition to the scenery it has fabulous restaurants, shopping, and nightlife right on the Island and not far from St. Petersburg's central ave and Ybor City Heres a link to a list of cool things to do on the island. https://www.localbaysics.com/22-things-to-do-anna-maria-island-fl/
Sandbar Restaurant

Sandbar Restaurant

100 Spring Avenue, Anna Maria, FL 34216
, (941) 778-0444

First and foremost, you have to see the beaches on the island. The Sandbar is a great place to start because its one of the only restaurants in the sand. Its got great drinks and an amazing view of the gulf sunset. Another beach to consider would be Bean Point, which is at the northern most tip of the island. Its where the Gulf meets the Bay, it typically offers more privacy than the other beaches. Or if you're staying further south on the island Bradenton Beach is another popular beach area to go to.

Shops on Pine Avenue

Shops on Pine Avenue

Pine Avenue, Anna Maria, FL 34216

Pine Avenue has lots of shops and restaurants to cool off in for when you're burnt out of the beach. There's a custom donut shop called Donut Experiment. There's a great Mexican restaurant called Poppo's Taqueria. The boutiques aren't the normal souvenir shops where you buy gimmicky shirts and seashells either. Places like Pink & Navy and PIneapple Junktion Co-op have cute stuff that wont make you feel like a typical tourist.

Harry's Grill

Harry's Grill

9903 Gulf Drive, Anna Maria, FL 34216
, (941) 567-5999

You gotta hit up the local dive bars. Harrys on Anna Maria and D'Coys Ducks in Holmes beach are known for their live music and Slims in know for their drink specials and Philly Cheesesteaks

For all the days along the way
