The Wedding Website of Mihika Srivastava and Peter McCuskey
We're so excited to welcome you to Goa! Goa is a coastal state in western India and a former Portuguese colony. Goa's quintessential charm comes from its stunning beaches, sleepy fishing villages, Portuguese-inspired bungalows, lush greenery and gentle, warm people. Below is important information for getting to Goa, accommodations and applying for a tourist visa to India.

Hotel

Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage

Panaji, GA 403004, India

Our celebrations will take place at the Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage, a vibrant Goan beachfront resort. (Please note, this is not to be confused with the Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon next door!) We're delighted to host you in Goa for our wedding and will be covering and booking your stay at the Taj across the main event days on December 21 & 22. However, celebrations start on Friday Dec 20th evening and we'd love to see you at our Welcome Party that evening. For those can join us on the 20th, we have blocked off rooms at the Cidade itself, that are priced at a special rate of INR 23,000 plus 18% tax, which will be available to book immediately. Please RSVP first and then book directly with the hotel only for the 20th (we will coordinate your arrangements on the 21st and 22). To do so, you will email Ms Desiree Cardoso at desiree.cardoso@tajhotels.com. Of course, you are welcome to book a stay elsewhere that night. Check in at the Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage is at 2:00pm; check out is at 12:00pm.

Flight

Dabolim Intl Airport (GOI) OR Manohar Intl Airport (GOX)

Goa has two international airports, Dabolim International Airport (GOI) and Manohar International Airport (GOX) or Mopa, which is Goa's newer airport. Currently, the majority of international flights arrive into Dabolim. Domestic flights arrive into both Dabolim and Mopa. Dabolim is closer to our wedding resort but you are welcome to fly into whichever is most convenient for you! For those flying into Goa from outside India: you may want to book roundtrip flights into/out of any major city in India such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc (depending on your other travel plans) and then book separate roundtrip domestic flights to/from Goa. This may be the most cost-effective option depending on your plans. For those travelling from the U.S., Qatar Airways is a good option to consider as your connection to get to Goa. If you have specific questions about airlines, flights and routes, please send us an email at mihikapeterwedding@gmail.com

Travel Note

Visas

Most non-Indian passport holders will require a tourist visa to enter India. This can be obtained by applying for either a regular paper visa or an e-Visa, which is the faster process of the two. Either way, we recommend you look into the process early--you can apply up to 30 days in advance for an E-Visa. Here is a link to the Indian government visa website or click the 'View' button below: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/ *Important note* Please do not use a non-Government of India website to apply for a visa!
