Getting Around Goa

If you are coming before the wedding dates and need a ride from the airport, visit the Goa tourism department counter to book a fixed-rate black and yellow taxi. For non-Indian residents, hiring a chauffeured car for your time in Goa outside the wedding is a wise choice given the unique driving rules. You can ask hotel staff to book you one of these, either for the day or for multiple days. Local taxis can test your bargaining skills, and ride-sharing services like Uber/ Ola are not available. However, Goa Miles, the state government’s licensed app-based taxi service, operates in select areas. For the adventurous, rent a scooter around town at your own risk :)
