Our Story

Once upon a right swipe, a boy and a girl met at a bar on the corner of 14th & U. Braden dazzled Mihika with stories of his youth in central Virginia — an exotic place with rolling hills, cows, and a town of 1,500. It was a far cry from the hustle & bustle of the big cities where Meeks grew up… but the cliché proved true: opposites attract. Meeks & Braden have made many memories since those hazy days of their mid-20s, filled with Caribbean adventures & short-lived quarantine hobbies. They’ve made a home together in DC — with friends that have become family & a cat that has way too many clothes and far too much power over his parents. We can’t wait to make even more memories with our nearest & dearest in Portugal! See you in Sintra. Click through the gallery below for more of our story!
In December 2017, Braden & Mihika went to the Bahamas, where they discovered a mutual appreciation of spontaneous Caribbean getaways...something they still try to do whenever they can.

Puerto Rico quickly became a hot favorite for Braden & Mihika. They go as often as they can, and even spent a month teleworking from Condado in the pandemic. Ask them for San Juan tips before you go!

Mihika graduated with her Master's from Georgetown in May 2019 – it was time to leave student life behind once and for all... after celebrating with the family!

Braden's 30th birthday trip to Dewey beach was one for the books. Festivities included a day-long Survivor contest where friendships were tested and hearts were broken.
