Please see the individual event dress codes on the "Schedule" page! We encourage you to wear bright, floral attire at the Mehendi – western or Indian. For the Sangeet, embrace this opportunity to wear your glitzy & glamorous Indian outfits – but if you're more comfortable, feel free to wear formal/cocktail attire. For the wedding ceremony & dinner, the dress code is "elegant" — formal western attire encouraged, but we welcome Indian attire if you're more comfortable. WOMEN: Lehengas - a blouse and skirt with a separate scarf piece Saris - one piece of fabric worn with a separate blouse. We recommend getting a "stitched sari" as it can be complicated to drape this as a beginner! Salwar Kameez (also known as a "suit") - a long top worn with a matching pair of trousers. Men: Kurta - These are loose and long Indian shirts for men, they don't have a collar and come in a variety of lengths Nehru Jacket/Waistcoat - These can be work over a regular long sleeve shirt or with a kurta. They look like a vest/waistcoat or closed formal jacket and are readily available online in bright colors! Trousers - We recommend wearing khakis/chinos with your Indian shirts/jackets!
