Question

Will the wedding ceremony be live streamed?

Answer

Yea! Please join us from the comfort of your home using the below link. Ceremony starts at 430pm local time. https://evt.live/miguiyjhoberic/boda-wedding-miguelina-jhoneric-braulio

Question

Are COVID tests required to attend the wedding?

Answer

Ideally, everyone would have take a test prior to attending/ travelling (we sure will!). We also kindly ask that folks self quarantine prior to the wedding and avoid unnecessary outings to ensure everyone's safety.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Beach semi-formal. We want our guests to feel comfortable and be able to dance. Ladies - wear comfortable heels as we are on the beach / sand (think block heels or wedges) and flowy dresses. Men - no need to wear a tie and opt for breathable fabric. https://destinationweddingdetails.com/beach-wedding-attire-tips.html

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Hot and sunny. Think perfect beach weather. At evenings, it "cools" down but still in the 70s. The venue is on the beach so there will be comfortable breeze.

Question

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We are trying to organize welcome drinks on Friday. This will be very informal. As well as a boat outing the day after the wedding. Will let guests know as soon as we can confirm this.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Huracan Cafe - this is a restaurant (and not a hotel). Approximately 10-15 minutes from the hotel we are staying at. The ceremony is on the sand. The reception is inside the beach club restaurant which is covered.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

If you are staying at the Melia Hotel, we will be providing transportation to and from the venue. Bus times to be shared closer to the wedding date. If you prefer to drive, there is parking available. I also would suggest ubers as very cheap and convenient.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 4pm. Events will commence at 430pm.

Question

Is there a curfew?

Answer

Yes - we are monitoring this closely. This may impact the timing of the wedding ceremony and celebration. Please stay tune!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

We are inviting guests to cocktail hour, followed by dinner, drinks and of course dancing.

Question

Is there a wedding hotel block?

Answer

Short answer is no - the room rates being offered in the block are not competitive compared to specials the Melia group is offering.

Question

Where are we registered?

Answer

Your attendance is the biggest gift! For those who have inquired about where we have a small registry, we have created a small registry on Zola.
