Yes, please go through the RSVP process again. We understand this situation is fluid. If you need to change your RSVP closer to November 6th, we just ask that you give us 2 weeks notice.
Yes. As part of BC's new public health order, all guests and vendors at weddings need to show proof of vaccination to gain access to the venue. We fully support this health order, and hope it gives all our guests peace of mind knowing the risk of COVID will be low at our wedding.
For BC residents, bring your digital or printed BC Vaccine Card along with valid government ID. For out-of-province guests, please bring a your province's officially recognized vaccine record and valid government ID. The venue hosts will check your proof of vaccination before you enter the venue, without exceptions.
This wedding is being held together by hope and scotch tape. Send your good vibes into the universe because we will not be planning this all again a 5th time!
Our original, pre-pandemic plan was a wedding weekend with events over 3 days. This time around, we are going more informal with Friday and Sunday events. You're welcome to stop by at the lodge, say hello, visit, help us set up or take down, but we won't be hosting a formal Friday cocktail hour or Sunday brunch.
There is limited parking on the Forest Service Road. We encourage you to carpool - contact Michelle and Graham for arrangements. Hope Taxi provides service to American Creek Lodge. Call (604) 869-5501 to arrange pick ups. If you do drive, please park on the right side of the forest service road only, leaving room for cars to pass. Do not park in the lodge driveway.
Really, anything goes after rescheduling for the 4th time, but we suggest sporting your best cozy fall formal attire. The ceremony and dance party will be held outside, so don't forget a jacket and umbrella, just in case.
There will be an open bar at cocktail hour, table wine during the dinner, and a toonie bar after dinner.
Note your specific dietary restrictions in your RSVP. There will be lots of vegan, gluten free and dairy free options at the reception and side events.
With the current public health orders, we have had to limit the number of plus ones. Don't worry - we've curated the guest list and seating arrangements so you'll be surrounded by your best friends!
Young children under 5 years old are welcome at our wedding. Please let us know in advance if they'll require a prepared meal.
We love your furry friends, but are not able to accommodate them at our wedding.
