The Big Day

A little sneak preview

Picture this: You pull up to the front of a spectacular mountain lodge, surrounded on 3 sides by lush forest. The strums of an acoustic guitar leads you around the side of the lodge as you're met with a spectacular view. The outdoor ceremony starts at 3, so you have lots of time to mingle. Come inside and make yourself at home, or lounge on the patio overlooking the valley below. Our wedding day plans are fluid. They have to be at a time like this. But you can expect an evening of spectacular views, warm hospitality, local food and drinks, sweet treats, live music, an outdoor covered dance party, and much needed time with friends. Bring some toonies for the bar and a big coat. Let's do this already!

Our Commitment to Safety

The virus is not invited to our wedding

Our goal is to keep our guests as safe from COVID-19 as possible. We want everyone to feel comfortable while we celebrate our love. In accordance with BC's public health orders, everyone attending, including vendors, will need to show proof of full vaccination before entering the venue, without exceptions. This will allow us to celebrate safely, as close to normal as we possibly can right now. If you choose to attend our wedding, please be conscious of your activities in the week leading up to our big day. No one wants to accidentally bring the virus in, or bring it back home to our loved ones. If you have chosen not to be vaccinated, we kindly ask that you please don't attend our wedding. And if you have any concerns about attending, please reach out to us directly.

Modern Love

Hashtags brought us together

Our first date was over burgers and milkshakes at a 50s diner, but how we came into each other's lives is a much more modern story. In October 2015, a photo of Michelle at Joffre Lakes appeared in Graham's Instagram feed. He reached out in a private message, and we quickly realized how much we had in common. Graham taught Michelle to push her limits, and together we summited peaks, climbed to new heights, and explored the world in search of adventure. A love of the outdoors brought us together, and now we're ready to say "I do" in the mountains where we feel most at home.
