Their story began in the most unexpected way — in a Zumba class. In 2019, a friend convinced Michelle to try out a Zumba class at the now-closed Gold’s Gym Travis location in downtown San Antonio. Manny happened to be the instructor. Neither of them knew it at the time, but that one class would be the start of something special. What followed was a slow, steady connection built through conversations, shared interests, and mutual respect. Over time, they discovered a deep bond — grounded in humor, trust, creativity, and a love for art, music, and the little things that make life meaningful. They share a deep love for their children and family life — and also discovered a mutual love for cats along the way. On December 24, 2024, Manny proposed in front of the very same Gold’s Gym Travis location where they first met — a full-circle moment that made the “yes” even more meaningful. They chose November 30, 2025 — a date that also honors Manny’s late father — as the perfect time to begin the next chapter together in celebration of love, life, and family. Now, surrounded by the people who matter most, they’re excited to celebrate their wedding in the city where it all began!
