Aeroport de Barcelona-El Prat
The airport you will want to fly into is Barcelona's only international airport, Aeroport de Barcelona-El Prat (BCN). It is fairly close to city center, about a 15 minute taxi/uber ride (20 euro) or 20-30 minute ride by train (2 euro) Barcelona city center is about 1 hour car ride away from Blanes, where our wedding will be held. Methods to arrive to Blanes include taxi, train, rental car, or shuttle (see below).

Hotel Horitzó Pierre & Vacances
This hotel is in a great location right by the ocean and is steps away from downtown Blanes. It also is about a 5 minute drive to our wedding ceremony and reception. Breakfast included! Please book ASAP via Booking.com! The rates as of January 2025 are $110 / night for a standard 2 person room, 100% refundable until Sept 2, 2025. This hotel actually increases their prices for a room block (by 3X can you believe it?!) , so we encourage everyone to book their rooms individually ASAP to lock in this good deal! The price WILL go up!
Shuttle
Shuttle Schedule

Shuttles will be available for all guests to and from the events within Blanes. To reserve your spot on the Barcelona/Blanes shuttles on June 6th/8th please let us know via the RSVP form! All pick up locations will be announced closer to the wedding date June 6th, 2pm BARCELONA - BLANES We will have 1 shuttle picking up from Barcelona city center to bring you to Blanes on September 6th. If you are unable to make the shuttle, please see the taxi, train, and rental car section for more details. June 6th, Final timing TBD HOTELS - WELCOME EVENT- HOTELS We will provide a shuttle to/from the hotels to the welcome event at Hotel Santa Marta June 7th, Timing to Venue TBD; Venue to Hotels: 11:30pm; 2am (June 8th) HOTELS- WEDDING-HOTELS We will provide a shuttle to/from the hotels to the wedding at Marimurtra Gardens / El Convent. There will be 2 shuttles to return. One at 11:30pm after the reception, one at 2am after the after party. If you would like to leave at an in-between time, taxis will also be available. Note: No shuttle to the day after event as it is walkable from the hotel:) June 8th, 3pm BLANES - BARCELONA We will provide a shuttle back to Barcelona after the day after activity. Train
Train from Barcelona to Blanes
Take the train line R2N from BCN Airport to Train Station Barcelona-Clot-Aragó. It will take approx 30 min. Transfer at Train Station Barcelona-Clot-Aragó to train line R1, which will take you to the Blanes Train station. It will take approx 1H 20 min. Rate: single ticket 5 zones 7,35 € Once you arrive at the Blanes train station, you will need to call a taxi to take you to the hotel. To call a taxi, call +34972.35.50.50 / +34972.35.27.20.

Rental Car
Barcelona El Prat Airport Car Rental
If you would like to rent a car, we recommend picking up a car directly at BCN airport with pre-booking on booking.com. You can rent a car for ~$20-30 per day. There are several free and paid parking lots in Blanes where you can park your car. There will also be free parking at all the wedding event venues. This is good option if you want to go on road trips to the gorgeous little towns in the nearby area!

Taxi Information within BLANES
If you are taking a taxi within Blanes, the best place to locate one is at the taxi stand at Placa de Catalunya. You can also call +34972.35.50.50 / +34972.35.27.20 to have them come to you. Most taxi drivers speak english and card and cash are both accepted. Please note that since Blanes is a small town, there is a limited number of taxis available!
