Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Michelle Tufano and Chase Steinbrunner
If you have some extra time while you're in town, we'd love for you to experience a little of what makes Charlotte so special!

Atherton Mill

2108 South Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203

Shop local boutiques or some of our favorite stores (like Anthropologie, Madewell, Lululemon and Tecovas), grab a latte (their chai tea is my fav!) at Not Just Coffee, or enjoy a drink at one of the many nearby bars and restaurants.

Rail Trail

One of our all-time favorite things to do on a Saturday or Sunday morning! Take a walk (or rent a scooter, if that's your thing!) and explore South End's extensive number of restaurants and breweries along the trail. Here are some of our top choices: - Restaurants: Oku Chapter 6, Indaco, LeRoy Fox, Dilworth Tasting Room - Breweries/Bars: Sycamore, Suffolk Punch, Monday Night Brewing, Frenchy's - Dessert: Jeni's Ice Cream

Uptown Charlotte

Check out the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Romare Bearden Park (near the Charlotte Knights baseball stadium), or grab a drink at one of Charlotte's many rooftop bars and enjoy the city's skyline view. Other Uptown recommendations: - Restaurants: Sixty Vines, Deans Steakhouse - Bars: Merchant and Trade, Aura Rooftop

Freedom Park

1908 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203

A beautiful green space just outside of South End. Perfect for a morning walk!

U.S. National Whitewater Center

5000 Whitewater Center Pkwy, Charlotte, NC 28214

If you're up for an outdoor adventure, head to the Whitewater Center - about 25 miles from Uptown Charlotte. It's a riverside park with whitewater rafting, zip lining, rock climbing, mountain biking and peaceful walking trails.
