Chase and Michelle met in September 2023 at their mutual friend Trae's 30th birthday party. Chase was only visiting Charlotte for the weekend, but he decided to extend his trip to spend more time with Michelle (and maybe squeeze in another round of golf). By the end of the long weekend, they decided to give it a shot - and so began a year-long, long-distance relationship. In November 2024, Chase made the move from his longtime home in Indianapolis, IN, to Charlotte, NC, to be closer to Michelle (like really close). Fast-forward to July 2025, when Chase got down on one knee - surrounded by their parents... and 100+ strangers at Sixty Vines (a restaurant in Uptown CLT) - and popped the question Michelle was more than ready to answer (HELL YES!). We're so excited to celebrate with our favorite people in the city where it all began - and where we are building our life together - the Queen City, Charlotte, North Carolina.
