Hotel
This is where all the action is happening! The lodge is open only for wedding guests, so mix and mingle with our friends and family, and make yourselves feel at home! Alta Lodge is Alta’s first ski lodge, hosting skiers since 1940. It is a traditional, European-style, historic mountain inn with ski-in and ski-out access at the base of Alta Ski Resort. We chose this as our venue and lodging option because of its classic family-run ski lodge vibes and the authentic Alta experience! There are a variety of room types, so please choose what makes the most sense for your crew! The lodge is available for guests Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Right now, the website only shows that Friday and Saturday nights are available. If you are interested in staying Thursday night as well, make a note of that in the comments when you book your reservation. Please note that the lodge is not handicap accessible, and does have several flights of covered outdoor stairs. The lodge team is able to help coordinate if any special needs arise! Just let us know!

This hotel is just up the street from the Alta Lodge, and is a bit more upscale if you are looking for something a bit fancier! This will be the perfect overflow locale for wedding guests, and is an easy walk to and from our venue. We have a block of rooms here for our guests. Use the link below.
Flight
The airport is about a 40 minute drive from the venue, which is up Little Cottonwood Canyon. There are several options for airport shuttles, and once you are up the canyon, you do not really need a car for the weekend, as all events will be located in one location near Alta Ski Area.

You can get from SLC Airport to Alta Lodge via shared or private shuttles like Alta Shuttle or Alpine Transportation, which offer convenient, experienced 4x4 transport right from the airport. Alta Shuttle: Offers shared rides (SmartShare) directly to the resorts, departing every 20-30 mins, plus private options, booking ahead is key. Canyon Transportation: Large fleet of 4x4 vans, shared or private rides available for groups. Alpine Transportation: Provides private SUV/van service for door-to-door convenience, good for groups. Uber/Lyft is also an option as long as road conditions aren't an issue!
