If you are a snowboarder, this is your spot! Alta is skier only, but you can easily get down to snowbird on the bus, and can ski or board back to Alta as the two resorts are connected. You can also take the Tram up to check out the views and eat lunch. The Cliff Lodge at Snowbird is another fabulous spa option with a rooftop pool and hot tub! Spa reservations required.
We highly recommend adventuring over to this spa spot! A fabulous option for a massage or a private soak in the Grotto (reservations required). Stillwell Spa is named after J. G. Stillwell, who owned the mine and general store. The spa embodies this history with its sacred space made from the original granite stone, a dimly-lit grotto with a plunge pool, and other natural materials used throughout.
Our favorite Aprés ski spot! Highly recommend you try out the local drink special - an 'Alta Bomb'. The pickles are also a must! This is a big party spot and there is often live music in the afternoons.

Of course, Salt Lake is a short drive down the canyon (weather and traffic dependent of course!) with lots to do and see. The golf courses will be ready to go, as well as many other fun options to get out and see. Reach out if you would like more specific recommendations!
