Chateau Chantal Winery and Inn
One of our favorite wineries just outside of Traverse City. Breathtaking views! We went to this winery on our very first trip together to Northern Michigan in March of 2024.
Bellaire, Michigan
Bellaire, Michigan is a charming small town about 45 minutes from Traverse City. It is also where the Scharret family has a cottage! We love the cute downtown with favorite spots like Short’s Brewing, Toonies karaoke bar, and Sweet Ree's Candy Shop. For great souvenirs and broasted chicken, check out Butch's Tackle Shop. For great (sweet) wine, check out Torch Lake Cellars. Highly recommend our favorite small-town for a nice day trip!
